What happened in Italy -
the dreamers workshop
It all happened so quickly.
Erik asked me to cook at his retreat (the dreamers workshop) after he had seen my work at our both friends’ wedding and on my Instagram account.
As I’m not known for being super spontaneous, to join this retreat taking place only one week after he had reached out to me, still was the best decision I could have made.
Cooking four days in a dream location for over 20 retreat participants and an amazing team supporting each other in every way showed me a glimpse of my dream life.
And since I was there, it showed me: My dream life can be my reality.
With founding by M I’m finally fulfilling this dream.
I’m very excited to show you by M.
To maybe even inspire you and your own cooking, to create for you and to show you new and different ways of making food.
And to simply let you enjoy a retreat, a brunch, an evening, whatever your event might be, without having to worry about good, nutritious, delicious, healthy food suitable for everyone.
Teamevents.
While working at my old job at a Café in Munich, I did not only organize the Christmas Party, I also served all the food.
Feeding this team of more than 15 people by just myself filled to whole day with preparations, but I enjoyed every second of it and got even more rewarded with happy smiles when the food was on the table and later in the stomaches.
Experiences like these gave me even more spirit to keep on believing in this path, believing in my passion.
Birthday Brunches
The first big brunch I did was for the wedding of very close friends of mine. After this, not only my boss asked me to make food for her 30th birthday party.
I’ve hosted several birthday brunches for my close friends in the last few months and every time again, I was reminded of the joy this work gives me.
After finishing my bachelor thesis, I saw it as a reward to be in the position to make a brunch on the occasion of a good friends birthday the following weekend.
So while other people went out for partying to celebrate their degree, you could find me in the kitchen, feeling just the same, if not even more fulfilled with you.
Therefore I’m more than happy to be able to make my brunches accessible to more people now than just the ones in my close circle.
and last but not least - most recently:
Another good Winter came around.
08 world.
When I got to know Vik (funny enough after Erik: Mr. Winter nr.2) earlier this year, he and his business partner Luk were just about to open their store 08world in Rosenheim, close to Munich.
When he asked me to give him some inspiration for sandwiches, I immediately created one for him.
To keep it short:
He loved it and straight away put it on the menu. I loved that and straight away put it on my website. ;)
So when in Rosenheim: Make sure to check out 08world and try my Chickpea Curry Sandwich with dried tomatoes! Will be worth it…
At the point of this experience I had already initiated all the necessities to get my business going.
Still, it was quite meaningful to me because I again was shown and validated in the fact that my skills and my way and style of making food, in which I personalize my creations to every person requesting it, is
a) being seen and appreciated,
b) hitting the spot, and therefore
c) wanted.
I’m very excited to see where this journey will take me, which experiences are there to come, what I will create and who I will meet.
So let the show begin! I hope to see you soon!
Lots of love, M.
