Growing up in Southern Germany, in a small village at the feet of the alps, I was actually very far away from living a vegan lifestyle.

When Corona suddenly took over the world and we were isolated in lockdowns, I started to get into sports and even deeper into cooking and nutrition than I already was. When I realized what actually is behind animal products, I decided to become vegan.

As well as the ethical part, I figured I wanted to live in a healthy and sporty body and therefore, as a vegan, it is important to watch your nutrition since it’s not easy to sustain this lifestyle in a healthy way, if one doesn’t really think about the factors which need to be covered to keep your body healthy and for you to feel your best.

I got inspired in lots of different places and through this journey developed my own signature and perspective on how I want to fuel my body and how I want to cook.

Taking care of all nutritional factors and keeping things as clean, unprocessed, and sugar free as possible is just as important for me as the taste. Over multiple years now I’ve developed a sense, knowledge and expertise for this topic and am now creating all recipes I’m using on my own.

With all the work I’m doing, for which you can find some detail on the subpage “previous work”, there are some essentially important things for me.

  • All the work I’m doing will follow my believes about food. I will make everything vegan, as healthy and good for the body as possible while not compromising on flavor.

  • All the work I’m doing will be beautiful. For me it’s very important to make everything I make look appealing and nice. While having a dark chapter of my life behind me where I was having a hard time with my relationship to food since I got mentally ill by anorexia, making my food pretty always made it easier for me to eat it. But also in general I think everyone, also without a background like this, can agree, that eating pretty dishes is simply more fun and feels nicer. Having this as a part of my past though, is making me put even more effort into reaching this goal.

  • All the work I’m doing won’t be the same for every customer. It’s important for me to create something tailored to every single customer, because every single customer is different and also every occasion is different and, in my opinion, needs their very own concept to make it really the perfect fit. I want to take into account every customers’ special likes, their preferences, their character, their event and the vibe of it and any special requests when it comes to allergies or dislikes. Nothing will ever look the same. I want to highlight every individual and their uniqueness.
